The trials and struggles in marriage, especially for Godly individuals, are not a sign of doom. It's the signal for family and friends to support with prayer and love. Peter said to expect trials - marriage is a prime target.

You two are living the truths and commitment for a strong marriage...and a happy one too :-). I admire and love you both - even 30 years later!

Love and prayers,
NancyNancy Mahernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34540062.post-56099087466156352822012-05-08T23:38:14.813-04:002012-05-08T23:38:14.813-04:00We live in an "instant" world. People do...We live in an "instant" world. People don't have the time or don't take the time to develop long-term relationships. The headlines quickly report when a marriage has collapsed after 48 hours. When two people truly love each other and have cultivated that love over a period of time, it is a wonderful thing to celebrate by means of a public ceremony, with family and friends gathering together as witnesses and as supporters for this newly created family unit.

Thank you, Tony, for putting clarity in the idea of a perfect marriage. We all experience challenges in our relationships. The concepts of fidelity and loyalty are as fleeting in the world as the passing storms. Our world speaks of several careers in a lifetime, rather than a lifetime spent in one career!

God bless those who take the step to be married... and stick to it!Major Johnnoreply@blogger.com
